Garmong to help Vermillion biz park rise
Spec building slated for completion summer 2015
NEWPORT — A former Cold War-era chemical weapons storage facility in Vermillion County continues to refashion itself into a home for new and expanding business ventures.
C.H. Garmong & Son, an Indiana developer, has entered into a joint venture with the Vermillion Rise Mega Park to construct a speculative building geared for advanced manufacturing, said Susan Snider Turner, Vermillion Rise marketing director.
The building, which will measure 50,000 square feet on 31 acres, is set for completion by mid-summer 2015, according to a Vermillion Rise news release issued Thursday.
