Vast Resources to Meet Any Needs
The abundant utilities available at Vermillion Rise Mega Park make it an ideal site for industrial development. With the park’s Select Site Certification, industries interested in locating here don’t have to factor in the costs of bringing utilities to the site. All you have to do is hook up to what’s already here. And, what is here is plentiful indeed.
Let’s talk water. Vermillion Rise Mega Park sits atop the Wabash River Valley Aquifer – a 70-acre water-source parcel that can supply nearly unlimited water through a redundant system of horizontal collector wells and distributed throughout the site via 24” water mains. There’s also a seven-million-gallon reservoir onsite that currently offers an excess capacity of 760,000 gallons per day.
In addition to an ample water supply, there is also a wastewater treatment plant located onsite with an excess capacity of 194,000 gallons per day. This plant is accessible by every business in the park via an 8” sewer main.
Duke Energy’s Cayuga Station, located just five miles north of Vermillion Rise, is capable of providing more than enough electricity to meet the needs of most any industry as well as the future needs of those with plans for expansion. Transmission service is provided via a 69 KV line, and a 345 KV line is approximately a mile away. Duke also operates an onsite substation at the Park that has been modified to allow for service up to 40 MVA. And, a new 230/69 KV transmission substation capable of providing up to 150 MVA will be constructed adjacent to the park by June 2017.
The Panhandle Eastern pipeline adjacent to the site provides ample supplies of natural gas for heavy industry as well as for normal heating uses. The Rockies Express Pipeline, which is also adjacent to the park, can provide additional supplies if needed.
Of course, all industries need good telecommunication services. AT&T has you covered with all the essential services including data, voice, and video.
